Todd Hoerner started racing at age 16 under the close watch and tutelage of his father, Rod Hoerner. Who himself had a great racing career, Rod amassed 7 NHRA divisional wins and a NHRA division championship.

Rod was a great teacher and brought Todd through the ranks both in the AHRA and the NHRA. Todd has won 7 AHRA world championships in the combined classes of Super Street, Super Gas, and Top Comp. Once winning 72 consecutive rounds of racing in the Super Street ranks of the AHRA. That works out to an amazing 14 weeks in a row without a round loss.

In NHRA’s Division 6 Todd has won 14 Wally’s and is the only driver to win in 5 different categories, which include Super Street, Super Gas, Super Comp, Top Comp and Top Sportsman.

Rod taught Todd how to be successful, in life and in drag racing. Unfortunately Rod was taken way too early in life and there isn’t a day that goes by that Rod isn’t in our memories and is sorely missed by the entire family.
